looking for coupons?

everybody loves shopping online. however do you guys now that you can save by entering coupon. at such, i saved $5.00 just by entering a coupon code during checkout for my order at yesasia . definitely a good way to save money. after all, trust me, its not that hard to look for coupons online to help you save, even if its not that much.

but say, who doesnt like free stuffs and free discounts?

if you find it hard to ‘find’ a reliable site which has a great database of ‘usable’ coupons, here is a good choice:CouponChief.com that offers coupons directly to you, for free.

free as in beer. haha i wonder why they always use this quote. beer isnt free isnt it? but anyhow couponchief has a variety of merchant coupons that satisfies your desire, i mean your shopping needs.

an example where you can get great discounts through snapfish coupons is when you are shopping at snapfish.com. the discounts are amazing and my bro totally love this site. it lets you print your photos in hard copy and sends it to your home. we should have a service like this. :)

of if you prefer to save even more when buying online products, try dell coupons. easily get discounts up to 15% by entering coupons when you buy a computer or laptop.

of course, there are many more merchants out there which accepts coupons. happy shopping and saving online :)

mint flavored credit card?

We do have many credit cards around. even in my wallet alone i have three different ones from UOB and HSBC, both Visa and Mastercard. Of course, spending with credit card seems to be more ‘yeng’ but in the end, we still have to pay up at the end of the month.

It also depends on how ’smart’ you manage your money. I personally think that when it comes to cash, its harder to handle than using credit card. Sometimes when you need money the most, the cash seems to run out fast. also credit card tracks what you buy. at the end of the month when the statement comes, you get to see everything you spent in a single sheet(or maybe 2 or 3 sheets if you are uhm spending more :) )

sometimes i just spend until the next time i open my wallet waaaa theres no cash money left? thats where the credit card comes in. it never gets dry :)

and its a competitive world out there. with so many similarities between these cards, im sure users will have a hard time choosing which card to use when it come to paying.

however, instead of hiring staffs flocking around the mall, persuading users to get their card, shouldnt they offer something like mint credit card offer?

logo_mint.gif

0% on balance transfers (2.5% fee) until 1 November 2008

0%on purchases until 1 April 2008

0% bonus offer until 1 July 2009 on balance transfers debited to your account during January 2009 (2.5% fee)

*Manage your account online

*Up to 56 day interest-free period on purchases

and many more.

unfortunately this great service is only available in UK if im not mistaken.

even though they are new, they strive to attract customers by offering awesome and tempting credit card service. cant they offer something better like what mint has to offer instead of cheap free gifts such as pen or mugs or even ‘branded’ watches in malaysia?

we should have a flavored credit card in malaysia too. hmnnn

EMO!

imnot sure if you guys see this shop anywhere else. but its called:

dsc00565.JPG

EMO Bookstore.

Its our Monash University Sunway Campus Bookstore. and it DOES get you emo.

I was emo because for my Australian Business Statistics Book, i bought it for RM73 instead of RM65 if i just walk over to Sunway University Bookshop which is just nearby!

I even asked for discount from them!

AdrianC: Any discounts for monash students?

although i sounded a bit sarcastic.

Lesson learnt, never buy things in a hurry. EMO bookstore gets you EMO! however even when they charge overpriced candy stuffs, ppl just buy from them. there is no other places to go. i do get my dailydosage of clorets(for your info i dont have bad breaths but according to the advertisement on tv i can get a princess to marry me…nice refreshing breath is better than looks, they say la) from them too.
anyway try not to get near them. or u will get emo.

should i forgive them? after all even my blog name is ‘emo’ cha.net :p
