my fitness journey- of choosing gyms

i seriously seriously need to work out. no kidding but im getting tired easily. And the extra spare tire im carrying! UH OH! It has been long since my fitness training few months back. but no chance to do exercise!

Then just a month ago, california fitness invited me to join their gym package becuase they are opening one in Sunway Pyramid. For students its RM99 per month. unlimited access to the gym. and its already open!

In a way its good because everytime i finish class i can find my way to Sunway Pyramid to work out. However my main priority is still to lose weight. After ‘almost’ signing up with them, i asked them clearly

AdrianC: Errr, does this package comes with a fitness trainer?

*****: Yes. Our fitness consultant will help you with your fitness goals. We can arrange it for you.

AdrianC: Okay. It sounds good. How is it arranged?

*****: Its based on the fitness trainer. He will plan everything for you and monitor your progress. You can meet with him a week once or so. You can arrange the appointments.

AdrianC: Are there any additional costs?

*****: (trying to change topic) Why dont you try to pay the deposit first then we arrange everything for you later after you join us. (its been a few days already that me and my dad was not ready to pay because we wanted to know more before we commit ourselves to the 1 year gym package and she asked me for deposit! scammy!)

Its good that you can use the equipments there. But without a fitness trainer you might be doing it the wrong way and ended up having lopsided balls(one ball muscular!) Except you go with experienced gym friends. It seems that you have to pay quite a huge sum if you want the fitness trainer. Another attraction is that you get to go to a variety of classes. kickboxing lar, nipple pinching la(jk) and all sorts of activities. But of course it requires commitment. How often can you go to the classes. To me, its really inconvenient because if i do need to work out on weekend, I stay far away which is in Klang (30 minutes drive without the traffic jam). Of course, the spa and the pretty girls you can see there is a total TEMPTATION.

Ended up we didnt want to go for the gym package. We went ahead to check out YFitness instead.

yfitnessshyt.jpg

YFITNESS claims they are the biggest in Klang. Which gives me good impression at first. However much to my disappointment, BIG isnt really BIG. compared to other fitness centers, it is just small. However thats not the part that pisses me and my dad off.

Halfway during our guided tour which actually can end in 3 minutes(thats how small the place is), thet guy just went on ahead to talk to another guy who came in after leaving us standing there doing nothing for around 5 minutes,.

WHAT? HELOOO. at least say sorry or excuse me? He just went on ahead. Then he came back when we were back to our seats ourselves. We scolded him and he apologised. So we went on talking bout the plans.

RM85 per month.

Dad: How bout free trials? To see if we can get used to everything around here. Other fitnesscenters are offering us free trials about a week or so.

***: Uhm one day trial.

Me: ONE DAY?

***: UNLIMITED! you can come even before we open the door and leave when we close shop.

me and dad: !!!!!!! Okay we going off. no time.

Helooooo Mr smart guy operator of the biggest fitness center in KLANG, Fitness First is offering us trials for 1 week and they have been begging us to go for the past few months. Just that we didnt consider it since its hidden far in Taipan. Even CALIFORNIA FITNESS has a 1 week trial. But you give ONE DAY and yet you say such a cheap sentence? What as if we really want to go for the free trial at you fitness center now? PTUII.

Im telling you, if this is the way they operate business, they will forever be the biggest loser. until california fitness opens one in Klang and you go bancrupt. To add oil to the fire, when we went into YFitness, we already see a few threadmills SPOILT. Plus it was supposed to be peak hour (we went on a saturday) but we hardly see anyone there.

What a great first impression. And therefore you shall not get our money. In the end i didnt go or apply for any gym. Whats my plan? hmnnn… personal gym at home?

today i went to uni feeling refreshed. because last Sunday i cut my hair at APT salon for RM25. Its RM25 for haircut+blow with a senior hairstylist, hair cutter or barber or whatever you call it. Senior hairstylist has 4-5 years experience. except if i want to save RM10 and get my hair cropped into some funny hairstyles by newbies.

It is well considered rather expensive for me. After all, I’m just a student with little pocket money. Usually will go to the Indian barber only RM8!

Joe went there before too and paid for the newbies to cut. and they cropped holes onto his head and did funny experiments with his hair.

Joe: My dad say my hair look like some stray dog skin. Holes and patches everywhere!

HAHA. i will force him to send me a photo if he did take one.

And voila. my new hairstyle. Big difference from my old hairstyle?

>OLD HAIRSTYLE.

I didnt just had my hair cut. I dyed it also. Got those DIY hairdye. LOREAL ‘Feria’ reddish brown from the Beach Party few months ago. Ive got three packs that collects dust and i havent use even one till now. I poured one whole bottle on my short hair. But it doesnt look obvious. It only shows color under bright light or under the sun.

was a blast. we spend our night at the museum and we survived!

WARNING** LOADED WITH PICTURES**

woohooo

together with Joe, Yeet, and Lsoon, we met up with Nash in KL sentral. everywhere is so packed.

There was this group of choir who wants to break the record by singing the longest. its super tough okay. i think they are going to lose their voice. and they are just teenagers probably high school kids. omg.

We wanted to take a taxi to national musuem from there but the taxi drivers decided to go on period strike. No idea but isnt this the time they should be making money? Looking at this situation especially on merdeka day, i am disappointed at our country. There was even a tourist looking for taxi when i heard them yelling

CAJ MAHAL MAHAL KALAU MAU NAIK TAXI

in the end those tourists from europe went on to look for buses instead.

Yeah so much for being Malaysian and patriotic.

In the end we walked to museum negara. It wasnt that far, just that we crossed the highway like the game where you control the frog to move across the heavy traffic. and YET NASH wanted to do a JUMP shot in the middle! of course we didnt lar. so dangerous wei!!!

WE ARRIVED!

We went in and explored the place quickly!

There was also lots of army vehicle parked outside. of course, we took pics.

and tried to hijack.

Trying to errr steal?

During the guided tour

We are HALAL. certified :)

Our dinner

very Malaysian dinner. with lots of grass on it. lol

DiGI yellow guys was goin to sleep with us too :p

After dinner we went to walk to Dataran Merdeka. It is quite far actually but we managed to do it. Took us around 40 minutes ++.

feeling great at the beginning :)

tired cam-whorers

Joe(middle) suddenly got so hot and high. :) look at his red red face

Malaysian FLAG!!! high high up

night lifee!

The whole place turned into light show. brilliant colors everywhere.

Look at the amount of people. so patriotic?

yes.

THIS IS MALAYSIA. and this is how it looks like after we celebrate merdeka. be proud guys!

The door that seals us in the museum during the night. I dont want to know how old it is. spooky?

dont really like the idea of sleeping with them. They might cook my balls when im asleep. and this guy even has the WHATEVERRR! pose.

There is supposed to be something here in the right cubicle!. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next morning we woke up to MrDass(our museum caretaker) wake up call. He sounded like a real live moving huge loudspeaker.

WAKE UP SLEEPING BEAUTIES! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I CALL. and then he got all emo.

ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME? IF YOU ARE THEN WHY ARE YOU TALKING?

practically yelled at one of our sleeping partners.

Early in the morning we were given a really really hot instructor to learn dancing. No pics tho as we were steaming hot as well. She sure know her moves. And because of her the guys go va va voom. :)

then later in the evening some group activities.

This is the part the guy(japanese soldier) supposed to rape those girls but the girls seem to be smiling happily. lol

Our master plan presentation. spot emocha.net and adrianc in it.

This is OLD SKOOL CENDOL maker.

OurMerdeka Jump before we leave. Goodbye Museum Negara :)

After eating at TEPPANYAKI in MID VALLEY we camwhore before Nash leaves for a movie with his frens. :)

This is Fuji Mountain. haha swt basicly its JUST LIKE ABC la. nothing special. lol

HOME SWEET HOME. on th way back

was a nice experience overall. i mean we usually spend out merdeka night sleeping. and wake up cursing when the fireworks sounds wake u up. Our very first time being out in the dark during merdeka, and conquered MUSEUM NEGARA. haunted? not sure because we were so tired when we got back from Dataran Merdeka and we slept like PIGS. LOLOL
