Credit cards with a mint breeze

Do you use a credit card? Well I do. Unlike looking for promotions where the more % means more discounts and hence save more, using credit cards and dealing with banks usually need you to look for lower % to save more. Less interest means more fun!

With that said, is it possible to find:

0% on balance transfers (2.5% fee) until 1 January 2009
0% on purchases until 1 June 2008
0%bonus offer until 1 September 2009 on balance transfers debited to your account during March 2009 (2.5% fee)

Well, it must take superb strength to see this offer and yet let it go. With mint credit card, credit card consolidation is in fact, a breeze of mint.

Besides the great introductory offer, there are more great services they offer, perhaps even more than normal credit cards. In fact, if you happen to be in UK, you wouldn’t want to miss getting your very first credit card AND such a great offer. Think of credit card as more than a plastic. In fact it is but it is a plastic of enjoyment, reliability and convenience.

Google PageRank? and GOOGLE KARMA!

Just the other day Shiphire and KS and many other people ask me about google pagerank. They were frustrated that their google page rank is 0. Which means that they cant blog for money, especially when advertisers look at your Google PR. GooglePR is a rank to evaluate your website importance on the WWW. Higher PR means your website has many ‘quality’ backlinks, people reach to your site easier. They are rated 1-10/10, 10 being the highest rank.

One thing to keep in mind is that, Google updates the page rank every certain times( or after few months once). It is also important to submit your site to various search engines or portal such as yahoo, live.com and most importantly, google.com.

Up to date, no one knows exactly how they calculate Google PR. Some sources even say that they have a mathematical formula to calculate PR. Kenkai dot com did a good review about how google page rank can roughly be calculated(minus the equation which will kill ur brains).

PageRank Calculation

PR   Links Links Links Links Links Links
    For PR3 For PR4 for PR5 for PR6 for PR7 for PR8

1   555 3,055 16,803 92,414 508,277 2,795,522
2   101 555 3,055 16,803 92,414 508,277
3   18.5 101 555 3,055 16,803 92,414
4   3.5 18.5 101 555 3,055 16,803
5   1 3.5 18.5 101 555 3,055
6   0.5 1 3.5 18.5 101 555
7   0.5 0.5 1 3.5 18.5 101
8   0.5 0.5 0.5 1 3.5 18.5
9   0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 1 3.5
10   0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 0.5 1

Compare PR Values

Moving one step further, we are often asked what a PR4 link is worth, or a PR5 link is worth compared to a PR3 link, for example, so to try and make this easy to understand, we have listed the PR3 equivalents below.

PR2 =

0.2

of a PR3

PR3 =

1

of a PR3

PR4 =

5 x

PR3

PR5 =

25 x

PR3

PR6 =

125 x

PR3

PR7 =

625 x

PR3

Even so, this is just a roughly estimate on how they are calculated. Here are the few ways recommended to keep your PR up or maintain your PR.

We would say that since Update Jagger, it is worth considering a link from a web page of PageRank Two or above, as long as it is:

  • On focus with your product or service
  • The website’s index page has a PR of 4 or above
  • There are less than 50 links on the page
  • There are no undesirable external links on the page
  • There are no nofollow tags on the links
  • There is no robots metatag on the page with the content,” noindex, nofollow”
  • There is no javascript redirect on the link
  • The link is not redirected

However, while you can go link hunting for months to look for good quality blogs with high page rank, the best is just to blog your way through.
A post a day keeps your blog alive. Frequently updated blogs = fun quality posts = more readers
Meanwhile, just have fun blogging and dont get too frustrated. :)

THAT WAS IT, until GOOGLE recently changed their algorithm to penalize those who sell links out on their site, or link farm.

Those who got hit hard by Google’s recent crackdown got really frustrated and furious. Take me for example, my adrianchoychoy.blogspot.com *ahem* source of my income for emocha has been hit from PR3 to PR2 to finally PR0! and emocha.net got hit to PR4 from PR5.

NOW for penalizing us,

this morning ive seen the most error from Google- around 10 times.

HOHO! KARMA! Im telling you, KARMA!

Hmnn yup the holidays are here again and you guys probably wanna visit the theme parks such as Sunway Lagoon. Well i went there during the Sunway Family Day(in the midst of my finals) few weeks ago and despite not going Sunway Lagoon for quite some time already now, theres nothing much there.

boring =(

The rides are basicly still the same, the same splash pool to dip in water during the hot sun. No new attractions. Except for one place which is good, even if you don like animals, Sunway Petting Zoo or Sunway Interactive Zoo.

Me and my family spent most our time for the day here. We get to see and even touch cool animals and they have HUGE collection (of living) birds.

This is a yo-yo. a cross between a barbarian and a mule. haha actually i forgot what it is but it is a cross between something and something. imported alive from germany =)

If this is a real elephant i would turned into some rotten elephant poop by now.

omg horses! i love them!

The horse even responded to our call and came near us.

mouse? hamster? nope its guinea pig!!

i can feel its heart beeating in my hands. so cute! my favourite!

omg omg i want one!

mooooo i think this is a lazy kerbau relaxing.

eagle! scary?

CUTE!

its probably wondering why i am holding my camera to vertical position. And the way it turn its head made us Laughed-Out-Loud.

a furret! damn cute can? and a lizard at the background.

AND

tadaaa main attraction

omg you guys gotta see this one.

albino monkey. their hands are so soft. just like human! gosh.

photogenic!

Arent they just cuteeee? there are many animals too and many photos i took but its best if you go see them yourself. Whether you are an animal lover or not, all these is more than enough reason to make my day =)

Beware though because entrance is RM20+ per adult and something like that. I dont know the exact entrance fees since I went in for FREE =)

jealous or not? muahaha
