Good specs isnt it? that WAS my wife notebook. until i returned it to Compaq for a full refund. Actually its a good buy. However, the vista home basic that came with it totally screw up everything. I can however reformat the whole thing and install it with some other operating system like windows xp professional or ubuntu but unfortunately i wasnt prepared to spend so much time FIXING something i just BOUGHT. a lot of driver problems- graphics driver and bluetooth driver problems. sadly but true the built of the whole notebook thingy was not good also. as if it was really really cheaply made.

FIRST- It came to my house a few weeks ago. LONG AWAITED WIFE. COMPAQ PRESARIO V3205 TU. sleekish and as sexy as paris hilton.

connecting to the internet was easy. plug and play. then open DVD drive. LOAD DVD TO WATCH AND VOILA. WHATS THAT NOISEEEE? seriously it sounded really noisy. the DVD is scartching towards the top part of the drive (inside). as if someone is doin dj remixing with my DVD. okay maybe i was paranoid. open, check to see if it fits firmly. Then that farting sound again. ITS SO IRRITATING OKAY!. check with other dics. okay i give up. i dun wanna wake up my neigbours when watching 18+DVDs on my laptop in the middle of the night with that noisy noise!

HP was quick enough to send me a replacement unit a week later. That was quite fast considering i waited 2weeks plus for the computer to come from CHINA.
Open pack, everything was great..until to my HORROR (yes HORROR), the battery cant fit the laptop properly. OMG. AM I GOING to carry this notebook around with THE BATTERY FITTED so LOOSE as if its gonna drop off? what if my battery drop off when walking off starbucks?

great. just great. complained to the head of HP and they sent me a replacement battery a few days later. and that fitted properly, solved the problem.

But yet VISTA was having its PMS. computer failed to detect bluetooth, graphics driver malfunctioning, screen keep turning off occasionally (BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH). and worse thing is my com DOESNT want to turn off when i pressed shut down. It went like “SHUTTING DOWN’ screen where you cant press any bloody thing for more than half an hour until the whole unit became so hot.

okay then finally i used the manual restart. PLUG OFF then hell, pull off the battery. RESTART computer than DISCK CHECK that runs shows a lot of bad sector in my HDD. okay fine, reformat laptop to fresh configuration. ADOBE FAILED TO LOAD. ROXIO FAILED TO START.

okay ive screwed enough with my wife. contacted HP for a full refund.

i just divorced my WIFE.

If you are looking for a place to learn swimming, this is the place you should avoid at all costs. Apparantly Dolphin Training Center managed to rent the swimming pool in Matsushita Sports Stadium in Shah Alam. Thats where i took my swimming lessons, learn my first froggie sex swim style for about 6 months already, until i walked away and never to return to that place. Joe was the one who recommended me the place and so i went there with my sis to learn swimming.

Actually based on my hunt and research for swimming places, matshushita has a great pool. Olympic sized pool, well maintained and clean (much cleaner than public pool). There are other pools in around Klang and Subang, but be careful where u choose to swim. One of my brothers friend swam at the public pool in Klang and came home with extra red-tan-blotches on his skin. Skin diseases! A great place to swim is 3k, in Subang. actually i swam there lots of times, sometimes with friends and even alone once. The best part is its an indoor swimming pool, so you dont have to worry about bra-strap lines or invisible underpants appearing on your skin.

Anyway back to the topic today, why i ditched the swimming centre? My trainer is extremely good (remember mr.donovan?) there are lots of chicks swimming there, its a good pool, it gave me the tan and invisible underwear lines on my skin. Why? Simple. Their administration services. Whatever you pay for in this world, you look for the warranty, the after-buy services. Especially with training centers where their main product IS services.

My allocated time for swimming is on Sunday mornings. And usually on weekends you go out with your family, and so on. I chose Sundays also because usually i am free. When i say usually, these year alone there were few circumstances. I was away outstation and back to Penang for my vacation during Chinese New Years. And i was away to Penang for my cousin’s wedding.

So what is it all about? I postponed my classes. The taukeh of the swimming classes are fine with it. We TOLD him and he PROMISED that he will call us for further arrangements. He never did.

Another instance was it was raining heavily in Klang. In that kind of weather with thunderstorm, it is too dangerous to swim. So my dad called to ask them whether it is cancelled or not. They cant even give a good reply. So we are supposed to go there and WAIT? hello, we DONT LIVE BESIDE THE STADIUM we live in Klang. And when the lady thought she deserved to be pissed YELLED at my dad YOU KEEP ASKING SO YOU COMING OR NOT?!! that is not something you want to yell at my dad at. my dad was so super pissed. Who wouldnt?

After that i was sick. They do give replacements for girls who got period but not for sick people. So again, i have to postpone my class due to my fever and body ache. And there they are, claiming we cannot do that. What do you mean?!! So even if you are sick, you still go into the water to swim? Thats like STUPID. The fever will definitely get worse then! OMG dont they have common sense? SO. if we were to be sick( we are not god, humans get sick) we are supposed to pay money to you even when we dont attend the class? Its acceptable to say that if the person do it on purpose (like masturbating the whole night until the next morning he felt lazy to swim) but sick ppl?

And its not even cheap! RM 70 per month. My mum met her friend there and she got discount because someone recommended her there. So all three of her children pay cheaper fees. Its okay for me because i only took it together with my sis for like 6 months plus but Joe went there for about 2 years together with his sister and pays the same fees until now. This is business. What do you do for loyal customers? GIVE THEM BENEFITS! not SELECT certain ppl to give discounts at!

They have the BEST pool, they have the BEST trainers, they have LOTS of customers but they forgot whats the most important especially for companies providing services, CUSTOMER SERVICE! come on, if the situation is that they lack students, they will LICK you TO YOUR PANTIES to beg you to stay. It seems now that one or two customers DONT MATTER DAM SHYT TO THEM. and one simple and most important thing can bring down reputation.

You may think that: AIYAH WHY YOU SO FUSSY? JUST PAY AND LEARN LA. But seriously if you do that, you are being exploited. YOU PAY FOR THAT DAMN SERVICE AND YOU GET SHIT? its like going to the store and buy electronics like DVD players and say IM JUST GONNA PAY YOU. IM NOT TAKING THAT DVD PLAYER HOME. your money, you worked had for it and you deserve what you pay for. If its free then dont complain much.

If thats the case, i prefer to just do jacuzzi at home. Dad doesnt allow me to dig the backyard to plant a huge jacuzzi, my only hope was:

i dont know how to say it. eventhough its holiday, im getting restless. i know i did my examination badly but i cant seem to say it to ‘them’. Especially when they have such high hopes on me.

I dont know. I think ive been slacking too much with the first sem. It gives me butterfly feelings in my stomach when all the lecturers told me that first year subjects are easy. and if you fail…

but still, the pressure is on. seems like the only thing now is to wait for the results. some ppl can be completely honest with their parents about their exams and their parent would console them, tellin g them to try harder next sem or whatever. It will do great help. But im speechless. I cant do it. I cant tell them i did badly. and im feeling guily. its not that i can keep the secret forever. the results will still be sent to them. i need their support but im too afraid to face the truth.

but i still cant.

How does it feels to let your lecturer tell you that even when you do well in the examination you will still fail the unit because of the hurdle and your internals sucks?

I know how it feels. Theres a long story behind it. my e-commerce elective

Firstly we were grouped with 2 business student who actually failed the unit once. However we were convinced by them that they are experienced and they will help us pass the unit with flying colors.

e-commerce is not that hard. its actually very easy. But our group project totally failed. The smart i-failed-last-sem leader didnt hand us the final report for checking. and worse still, he didnt do the executive summary and TABLE OF CONTENTS. yes, WHAT THE FUCK MAN. table of contents missing? ask a form 1 student and they can tell you table of contents is the first thing you put in reports. and he can still proudly say he forgot. asshole and when the lecturer asked him DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BIBLIOGRAPHY AND REFERENCE LIST. and he confidently say I DONT KNOW> ISNT IT THE SAME.

you gotta be kidding me.

Those two guys are jokers. Add with another guy who is switching course next sem. He did his job but without references and citations. !!!!!!!

you can call me for blaming ppl when we fail but honestly, THEY SHOULD BE BLAMED. the only ones who worked hard all these while in the group is me and christina. THEY DIDNT GIVE A fUCK about our presentations. THEY DIDNT GIVE A FUCK at all.

and the lecturer told us before the exams. he said he can thro the report into the dustbin. He say he can dun give a damn about us and fail us straight away.

Because internals and externals are both 50% plus hurdle, if you get less than 25% in any of these two, you will still fail the unit.

and right before the exams, where i was so high in spirit for studying for the subject. he told me that.

and he didnt tell us whether we failed or not. all he did was ask us to hope that he would not fail us. theres still chance. but still, by that time i was broken into pieces already.

and now i just wait. ive been trying to get rid of these feelings by going to out to cyber. ask anyone who know me. ive never been to cyber for 3 hours ALONE. and for two days straight.

i am tired of it. its a burden. and i feel relieved when i blog this out. it really helps.

Vista Is Bulldogshit.

seriously if its not for my holidays i wouldnt even spend so much time trying to repair what seems to be simple problems. like wtf problems.

it came preinstalled in all the notebooks. it looks cool. the interface is new, bubbles screensaver, gadgets ( copy of mac widgets)

but theres a catch. (maybe CATCHES!)

Firstly, its original Vista home basic. and when i connect to Windows Update to get latest updates from microsoft all i get is shit that causes problems. updates that are either fail to intall or worked and next thing you know, you cannot start your com up. now wtf is this? i might as well pay for pasar malam windows xp professional and forget bout all these shit. and damn it microsoft. ppl will just turn to mac for stability if not for your nonsense!

and i have to reformat like so many bloody times just to get a clean configuration. and its not even perfect. all of a sudden my bluetooth is not working on my laptop. arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

i hate you vista. i cant wait to dump you!

dun even bother bout switching to vista. its still new(bloody new) and needs more improvement. trust me, its not user friendly at all!

sorry havent been updating much. it has been a horrifying week for me.

i think i got period.

no kidding.

my head was painful all over and i was having stomach cramps. and my throat is all burning.

no im not making fun of the girls im serious.

i went to visit the doctor. he checked my blood pressure and he said it was better than the last time i went. and the last time i went i was not sick, i went there to get my vaccination!

then he checked my temperature. normal. wth??!! my head is bruning and all so feverish, temperature is normal!?

then he told me probably flu infection. he gave me VITAMIN, PAINKILLERS and PANADOL.

and i got diarheaa…ewwww!

i swear my head was about to blew open. it was last friday. then after taking the painkillers i felt all better already. i had to rush to Monash to take my bio quiz. i think i flopped that one. i was suppose to study but instead i was crying with pain under my pillows. sob sob

lets wait another month and see what happens. blehh i definitely dont want this to be a monthly problem!
