This is unrelated but just feel like talking about it. One thing that single people always complain is how lonely they are. I admit, yes im filled with jealousy everytime a couple hold hands and walk past me. Then I will complain about how lonely I am again. But come to think of it, having a girlfriend isnt really that much of a big deal. <– what did i just say?? Having good friends are way much better. It has been a long time since i met any new friends so i feel kinda sad for myself.

And having good food is better than friends :p oops okay just kidding friends forever alright?

Today while waiting for my dad to pick me up, this gal who have been my course mate for a year and a half now came talk to me. Ive seen her in classes, in tutorials, but i barely remember her name. I tried hard to remember while talking to her bout the test we just did, and about her hometown. Then she introduced herself and I intro-ed myself- which is an embarrassment on my part. Why did i say i have not made new friends for a long time now? Because i forgot the simplest thing in the beginning of a friendship- shake hands and the ‘nice-to-meet-you’ part. The thing is guys are always engrossed with getting the chick’s number, getting the chick’s msn or friendster where we open it up and stare at your picture for 1000 times that we forgot the simplest thing to do: walking up to someone you dont know but you would like to meet, shake hands and just be friends!

I feel shame on my part because being course mates for half a year now, I dont really know everyone in my course. While there is this gal who used to take SAM with me and is also in my course now but we were not that close. We used to say hi smile bye in the beginning but soon after, she get on with her peers and i get on with my circle of friends and sometimes we just dont even smile to each other anymore. This, i feel is very sad because sometimes i look at her and just expecting to see a reaction but there is none.

So stop feeling bad about yourself and start smiling to the world. I feel that its the positive energy we release that attracts friends into our lives not how we look like or what we are. agreeable?

p.s fine i admit. I just wanted to brag about how a pretty girl actually talk to me today (feels good after letting it out blehh) oh i feel shes interesting too and shes from sarawak

The funny thing is I use to laugh at people when they say they get addicted to youtube. I mean how do you get addicted to youtube?? i know people get addicted to porn but theres like not a single watch-able porn on youtube (dont tell me u never search for porn on youtube lol)

anyway as I was saying, i got addicted to youtube. Just by clicking the deadly ’search’ button… they should change the button to something like ‘HERE GOES ANOTHER 5 HOURS YOUR LIFE’ instead of ‘SEARCH’. SERIOUSLY I was stuck at youtube for 2 hours , watching Marie’s video and not wanting to go bath (yes I was STINKING)

How can it not be? I meant look at the videos lying around waiting for somebody like you to just pick and click and watch them. And there always have to be like VERBAL fights where people who think they are super genius fights with people who just write retard comments. they never fail to make you laugh when reading them.

now the fun part is that you can know flag the comment you hate till it gets hidden. its like a vote thingy where if the comment just suck balls it will get like -10000 votes and the comment will be hidden (correct me if im wrong)

ITS FUN! at first i didn’t bother but its kinda fun where you get to EVALUATE peoples comment, it became too addictive. If its good u click on the thumbs up and if its bad just click on the thumbs down (sorry no middle finger sign)

YOuTUBE is SO MUCH FUN that they should change it to like DISNEYTUBELAND or sumthing!

Oh yea btw see the box MORE VIDEOS and RELATED VIDEOS on the right of every youtube page. How many of you can tell me honestly you have never watched a vidoe and click on it to watch a SECOND video and a THIRD video. It will become like a chain video watching!

Oh, not to mention just today while cleaning up the storeroom I found a workout guide. Belongs to my dad so its kinda old.

Look at the thorn pages. Its like some kungfu-peikap (trans: kung fu guide). Its so old yet none of the pages are missing. Plus there are diagrams for each workout!

Im gonna check it out once im free….I’m going to be a Marine private. lol

Media advertising is a tricky business, its like choosing between Jessica Alba or Paris Hilton.

Die edy lo now, how to choose? 

 

Here, we are to face the same question, Advertlets or Nuffnang?  These things always conflict with each other, because they are competitiors (advertising ma). Which one to put higher? Which one to take more space on you blog? Being greedy, if you put ALL OF THOSE advertisements on your blog, its a turn off. I dont feel like visiting any blog which is filled mostly with ads ALL OVER THE PAGE. Im not saying you cant be money oriented but too many advertisements is really really disturbing. Not to mention we load it with streamyx slowpoke speed.

Recently, Nuffnang ads have been pouring in to my blog, so I decided to give them a try. After all, listening to people wont do, you must experience and evaluate them yourself.

I have yet to receive any cheque from Nuffnang, (as I said Im just starting to give them a try), almost cashing out though. The same goes to Advertlets, but I have cashed out on OCT 11. Exactly 3 months now but I’m yet to get my cheque. Hmn, a lil worried thats all. You see, when people are cashing out, they get pretty excited, Not to say that we are impatience or anything, its just tiring that bloggers cant get thier cheque fast when they are anxiously waiting for the day the cheqeu to come!

Sometimes they let you do review. This is when u get to do crazy stuffs like camwhoring with your advertlets stickers

Nuffnang: I find thier ads, more interactive and eye-catching. A lot of their ads involves users to check out the advertisement.

You get a lot of cool advertisers and advertisement.

Hope im not stating the obvious like everyone do!:)

Its our Monash University Sunway Campus Bookstore. and it DOES get you emo.

I was emo because for my Australian Business Statistics Book, i bought it for RM73 instead of RM65 if i just walk over to Sunway University Bookshop which is just nearby!

I even asked for discount from them!

Lesson learnt, never buy things in a hurry. EMO bookstore gets you EMO! however even when they charge overpriced candy stuffs, ppl just buy from them. there is no other places to go. i do get my dailydosage of clorets(for your info i dont have bad breaths but according to the advertisement on tv i can get a princess to marry me…nice refreshing breath is better than looks, they say la) from them too.
anyway try not to get near them. or u will get emo.

i bought a modem router with 4 ports. i was FORCED TO. it seems like my modem burned. for the second time in many many years. The first time they gave me a replacement but not anymore now. modem is RM130+ D Link. will install it tonight and my internet will be backkk! yay!

what else? orh i might be registering for california fitness. its opening this month on the 24th. wow must go try out the machines. OR should i buy my own fitness machines and build my own gym at home? hmnnn DILEMMA DILEMMA.

The whole week ive been busy with so many stuffs to do. reports, reports, quizzes, quizzes, assignments, assignments. dont even have the time to study. man. and the migraine is killing me. luckily been having my daily dosage of sleep. or things could have been worst.

and halfway through this post Jerwis bumped into me. I was chatting with Kavi at the same time and he looked at Kavi’s Display Pic and said that she pretty. and he wants me to say hie to KAVI on behalf of him. oh yea and my braces hurttttt. haha you guys who dont know about it i already fitted those metals around last month 24th. It was not that painful until recently its like freaking painful. The feeling is like eating cold ice cream continuously and the pain pocks through your entire gum. Its as if your teeth is dropping off that very moment. bloody hell i had to take painkillers to stop the intense pain. must be because i ate something hard. No way after one month i get this intense PMS-like pain? anyone with braces before? need help

But i guess braces is way cool. its a good social object. because of that a lot of hot girls come to me and hey Adrian youre wearing braces!! or the motor show girl talked to me about braces wowowowowow

Recently, a bride who had her stomach stapled died of starvation.

Emma Favell, 32, paid a Belgian clinic £7,000 to carry out the radical procedure and within six months her weight dropped from 23 stones to 15 stones.

The nurse, from Burton upon Trent, spent months researching the treatment before picking out a Sint Blasius clinic in Belgium, where the procedure is carried out for half the £14,000 price tag in the UK.

During stomach stapling, surgeons usually close off some of the patient’s small intestine, leaving a smaller area where food and gastric juices can mix.

This gives them the sensation of being full after eating a smaller meal than normal.

The inquest heard that in Mrs Favell’s case, surgeon Jacques Himpens had left only a 30cm (11.8in) length of small intestine free instead of the recommended 75cm (29in).

Pathologist Manuel Sotres said this was “not enough to ingest enough food to keep someone alive”.

Coroner Andrew Haigh recorded a verdict of accidental death, but said the operation was partly to blame.

He said Mrs Favell’s death was due to multi-organ failure, protein malnutrition and malabsorption due to weight-loss surgery.

We hear news like this all the time. And sad to say that sometimes it doesnt have to turn out this way. Does the society now only care for looks?

Its common to hear that weight is an issue nowadays. As people have more money and the food are getting more and more delicious, a lot of people have weight problems. Food is no longer a survival object but a cure to temptation, desires and food cravings. And a lot got dumped by girlfriends and boyfriends because of one reason too: “You are TOO FAT! and HES More Handsome. At least he has some puny ABS!” “OMG SHES SO SEXY”. “how come i only see meat on you?”. Of course, those words are really painful to hear. and a lot of people are actually looking for weight loss programs and even extreme starvation diet. However do keep in mind that the best way out of this is through proper diet and exercise. It is easy to gain weight but its not easy to lose weight. Everybody knows that but there is never an easy way out.

I was shocked when i see this picture.

Lim(lawyer) said a doctor told the parents that Yok Shan’s infected fingers, which were dry and brittle, faced the risk of falling off on their own.

It seems that when Yok Shan was put in the incubator and a drip attached to her left hand, her hand got infection, turned black and swelled the next day and would have to be cut off.

Dr Yahaya had met the parents several times and apologised on behalf of the hospital.

The hospital has assumed responsibility and apologised to the parents, mechanic Lai Kian Khee, 24, and his Thai wife Nut Tuemthong, 27.

Yes and how are you going to take responsibility? A child’s future is being destroyed. She was born healthy. How are you going to give her back her arm and her future?

My mum said that she didnt send us to government hospital when we were born and instead sent us to specialist. I mean how can we trust our government hospitals again? Before this there were already cases such as babies mistakenly switched in the hospital. How careless can they get!?!

If you listen to the news, it happened in HTAR (Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah) Klang. Although after being taken care by specialists, her infection swelled down by 1.5 cm now.

Lets all pray for her to get well soon.

I got to know of this petition through wunnie on msn. Petitions are not something new but for peace sake, why not make a difference by voicing out? You may not be a superstar, you may not be a beauty queen or Miss Universe. You may only be a student. But you want world peace. We all need it. Ive traveled to Singapore years ago. Its an amazing country. The way they study, the way they work, the way they research. They have very little land.They are on a tiny dot on the map. They have very little plantations. But they work hard through the resource they have, brain power. Instead of being jealous at them or we call them ‘KIASU’ (afraid to lose), why not learn from them? We always talk but we never walk the talk. There is never a limit for growth and development. Its all effort.

3. Do you agree with the statement “International youth exchanges promote peace.” Why?

YES. youth are the future leaders. When our future leaders understands each and every culture, without having grudges, discrimination, bias, they are not just a leader of any a country. They are the future leaders of our world.

Look at the amount of ‘PEACE’ they have completed. Its an incredible effort.

What are your opinions about world peace? Ive seen some ppl saying that its impossible to obtain peace. Is that being pessimist or realistic? Would we ever obtain world peace?

Anyway i was determined to study. Because of the coldness, i am always wearing the thick sweater. Howver much to my surprise, many girls wear very little. DEAL OR NO DEAL?

in my opinion, its not. sadly but true, when we compare our prices and technology with other countries, we do feel cheated. I pay RM 88 per month for my streamyx 1Mbits/s package. Yes it do comes with a lot of extra stuffs in the package. such as

1. bad telephone customer service
2. ocassional/seasonal/frequent downtime. streamyx is like having PMS every now and then
3. really really bad upload data transfer rate ( i cant upload my any bloody photos whens its high quality. have to shrink it and destroy the quality.)
4. overpriced internet service

as always, they say speed is at the best effort.

If they cant even satisfy the 1Mbit/s customers, how would they do with the 4Mbit/s ones?

when other countries are giving away basic broadband packages from 8Mbit/s, cheaper than our 4mbit/s, customers actually feel cheated, dont we?

anyone with the 4Mbit/s service so far? according to what i heard, tmnet gave free upgrades to 4Mbit/s to some customers in Kuala Lumpur. How true is this news, im not sure either.
